Our very first partner awards ceremony perfectly bridged the gap between work and play, with the greatly anticipated two days of UK Cloud Summit 2019 playing to our advantage in more ways than one. Not only did it offer more thought leadership, breakout tracks and networking opportunities than ever, it paved the way for a new means of recognising and rewarding our partners’ brilliant achievements. Bringing together our partners for one night to mingle over exceptional food, entertainment and our sponsored bar fashioned the ideal setting to present our awards.

Hosted by myself, Scott Murphy, we presented awards to the partners who have shown the most dedication and commitment to building and scaling cloud solutions and contribute to the overall enhancement of the infinite possibility of cloud.

At Ingram Micro, we acknowledge that everyone works to their own advantage and style, so we presented 8 different awards that offered a breadth of categories to showcase our industry’s talent. From celebrating the women who are leading in channel, to recognising our best performing and engaged vendors, ISVs, VARs and MSPs.

We also welcomed our charity partner of the year, Harry’s Rainbow, who were in attendance throughout the Summit to interact with our partners. This made our Charitable Partner of the Year award all the more central to the heart of Ingram Micro’s core values of integrity and respect as we saw Odette Mould, CEO and Family Liaison Officer, present to our partners just how we can all help to provide children with the means to deal with their bereavement.

The winners of the evening were;

Woman Leading in Channel – Angelika Scheming, The Henson Group

Newcomer of the Year - NetMonkeys

MSP of the Year – Ricoh UK Ltd

Charitable Partner of the Year – Softcat

Creators and Integrators of the Year – Dropbox Business

VAR of the Year – Highlander

Cloud Change Agent of the Year – Colt Technology Services

Vendor of the Year - Microsoft

Thank you to everyone who won on the night and of course all the partners and vendors shortlisted. If you want more information about Harry’s Rainbow visit their website.
