As Ingram Micro Cloud unveiled its Go-to-Market Hub at Cloud Summit X in San Diego, it offered partners a closer look at this new set of tools and resources.

During the “Go-to-Market Hub: Your One-Stop Shop for Enablement and Marketing Tools” session, we had the pleasure of showing resellers and vendors how the Hub can benefit both groups.

Ingram Micro Cloud aims to add hundreds more vendors to its ecosystem immediately with the enhanced Ingram Micro Connect module, allowing vendors to quickly onboard and publish in more than 20 marketplaces. However, many of the vendors joining Cloud Marketplace will be smaller and won’t have the big budgets and resources to expend on capturing the attention of resellers. The Hub changes that.

Now vendors can easily create sales and marketing collateral for resellers to access directly from the Hub—all in a more cost-effective way. They can also post updates in Connect, such as new releases or product updates, which will be published immediately in the Hub for resellers to see.

Essentially, we’re removing ourselves as the middle man and giving the tools directly to resellers and vendors to digitally connect.

For resellers, the Hub serves as a resource to more easily gather information about Cloud Marketplace products. This library of product information is intended to address the reseller pain point that their end customers often know more about the products than they do.

Resellers can access and customize sales collateral as well as create and launch digital marketing campaigns. And they’ll find every product has a playbook and a corresponding marketing campaign. Product playbooks include product features and benefits, vendor description, business challenges, competitors and more. Sales enablement collateral includes customizable sheets, videos, logos and product screenshots. And marketing campaigns include customizable banner ads, landing pages, emails and social media.

Solution playbooks, grouped by business size and industry, are also available to help resellers sell solutions rather than just products.

In addition, the Hub features industry insights, such as white papers and event listings, and the Cross-Sell Advisor, which gives resellers product recommendations to cross-sell and package to customers. Plus, these recommendations come with estimates of potential revenue and potential margins.

While Ingram Micro Cloud plans to host webinars and a road show to train resellers on how to use the Hub and maximize its resources, there’s no need to wait. Simply log into Cloud Marketplace to start taking advantage of the Hub today.
