Ingram Micro Cloud has chosen to exit the cloud hosting space. With this decision, we have chosen to partner with Hostway Services, a leading managed cloud hosting provider. In this transition, four cloud hosting products offered through our Cloud Marketplace will no longer be available through Ingram Micro. However, Hostway will assist with migrating your products into their environment. This change now requires action on your part to ensure continuation of service for your customers utilizing these specific products.

The following is a list of hosting products impacted:

  • Hosted Exchange
  • Ingram Micro Virtual Machines
  • Ingram Micro Virtual Private Servers
  • Web Hosting
  • Domain names registrations attached to these hosting services

Please contact Hostway directly to migrate your customers’ affected products to the Hostway platform to ensure continuation of your services. Your services will be turned off on October 4th, 2018. We encourage you to begin the process immediately.

If you have Web Hosting, Hosted Exchange, Virtual Private Servers and/or Virtual Machines through Ingram Micro Cloud, these services can be migrated to Hostway's platform if you contact Hostway.

When will my services be shut down?

The hosting services associated with your reseller account will be shut down on October 4th, 2018. To get started on your transition, please contact Hostway via email at sales@hostway.com or by phone at 1 (866) 680-7556 ext 2. You can expect a custom migration path and a walk-through of the whole process.

Can I keep my Web Hosting with Ingram Micro Cloud?

All Ingram Micro Cloud Customers with Web Hosting, Hosted Exchange, Virtual Private Servers and Virtual Machines must have services moved to another platform. Your hosting services will no longer be supported by Ingram Micro Cloud starting October 4th, 2018.

What should I expect during the move to Hostway?

Hostway aims to minimize interruption to your services. The experience comprises of Hostway working closely with your named administrators, ensuring that all your data is retained, with 24/7 support on standby to address any issues in real-time, and providing you with the ability to preview and confirm that your web files have been migrated correctly before your service migration is completed. You will need to provide access credentials for Hostway to assist with the move.

Please note there may be minor differences in features and OS/software product versions due to difference of platforms. Hostway is committed to offering and onboarding your services on the best possible solution with minimal impact to core functionality.

What will happen to my billing?

After your move, billing will now be invoiced through Hostway for your hosting services.
