According to IDC, demand for cloud services in Brazil is growing in double digits, with public cloud services expected to jump from US $645M in 2015 to US $1,531M by 2018.*
With cloud computing now emerging as a mainstream technology in Latin America, Ingram Micro is pleased to capitalize on this substantial market opportunity by launching its leading cloud services platform, the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace in Brazil.
The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace (https://br.cloud.im/) is an ecosystem that brings together buyers, sellers, and solutions by enabling resellers to leverage the infrastructure of Ingram Micro. Rather than building complex and scalable infrastructure to support the growth of their businesses, resellers can now leverage the pre-build, flexible platform from Ingram Micro to purchase, provision, manage and invoice cloud solutions including Microsoft Office 365 through the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, Microsoft Azure, and Acronis.
Other leading cloud vendor offerings including BitTitan are expected to be added to the automated cloud services portfolio in Brazil in the coming days and weeks.
This launch brings the total number of Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplaces worldwide to 19.
