Previously, he was president and COO of VMware, where he helped grow the company from $31M in his first full year to $7B in revenue. Prior to that, Carl was vice president of North America Sales at Inktomi and also held sales leadership positions at 3Com, EMC and Lucent Technologies. He currently sits on the boards of Zoom, Cohesity, Snowflake, UiPath, Palo Alto Networks and Workday.

Alex Honnold

Alex achieved his lifelong dream when he scaled the 3,200-foot El Capitan in Yosemite National Park—without a rope. His amazing, free-solo feat was captured in the award-winning documentary film, Free Solo. Alex has been profiled by 60 Minutes and The New York Times, and was featured on the cover of National Geographic. He founded an environmental non-profit called the Honnold Foundation, maintains a simple existence living out of his van, and travels the world in search of the next great vertical adventure.

Nimesh Davé

David Wippich

He also served as the senior director for Xbox and was responsible for delivering over 10x revenue growth in under five years through a mix of business strategy, product design, and engineering of entertainment experiences.

Shelly Bodine

As the Chief of Staff for SoftwareONE’s North American organization, Shelly has an ever changing role.  Currently this includes leading sales markets, driving sales enablement initiatives, managing special projects and overseeing key publisher relationships.  In addition, as a champion of diversity initiatives, Shelly serves as an executive member of SoftwareONE’s “Women in Technology” Board that she helped launch two years ago with a great group of women from across their organization.

Shelly is an IT industry veteran with over 25 years of business experience within both the distribution and reseller space.  A versatile leader, she has held executive level positions in procurement, marketing, sales, product management, operations and M&A.  Before joining SoftwareONE, Shelly worked for a number of F500 companies including Avnet, Insight and Microage/Pinacor and has lead teams of over 400 employees.

Shelly holds three Bachelor’s degrees from Minnesota State, Mankato, and is the proud mother of 3 children.
