About Cloud Focus Day
Cloud Focus Day is Ingram Micro Canada's annual event giving vendors and partners the opportunity to interact and understand the proper tools, roadmaps and programs available to successfully move to the cloud.
Comprised of two main parts, vendors are provided the opportunity to speak to Ingram Micro internal sales and marketing teams in the morning and then meet with Ingram Micro's top partners in the afternoon. An event focused on bridging the gap between vendors, Ingram Micro and partners - Cloud Focus Day is a valuable networking opportunity bringing together all valuable stakeholders from across the entire IT market into Ingram Micro's office in Mississauga, Ontario.
Event Recap: 2018 Cloud Focus Day
With more than 70 vendors, partners and Ingram Micro sales and marketing associates in attendance, Bill Brandel, Country Chief Executive of Ingram Micro Canada, and Greg Onoprijenko, Director of Ingram Micro Cloud kicked off Cloud Focus Day speaking to the innovative programs developed by Ingram Micro to help connect vendors to partners and end-users. Introducing:
- Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, today's leading online marketing for cloud-based applications, and how it is enabling cloud resellers to bill or invoice directly through the platform and collect payments from customers on their own terms.
- Cloud Awesome Roadmap, a four-staged roadmap for resellers to achieve full breadth, depth and scale of their cloud business. Through programs like Ingram Micro's Office 365 CSP Value Program, select partners and resellers can take advantage of exclusive margins, benefits and white label support to support their cloud journey and transact more Office 365 CSP licenses.
- Flight Academy, a proven wholistic development program designed to help partners build a successful cloud practice within a 6 month period. Flight Academy's programs help partners excel within their particular practice, whether it be Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or IBM Cloud.
As the vendor keynote, platinum sponsor Microsoft spoke to the dynamic relationship with Ingram Micro and their investment in doubling-down their cloud investment through Azure and Office 365 CSP.
