Forbes has named the Best Cloud Computing Companies To Work For
… an interesting list that includes Box, Google, Citrix, Rackspace, Salesforce.com, Cisco, AWS, and VMware, just to name a few. I know, you are wondering what this has to do with the channel.
I was pleased to see so many Ingram Micro cloud partners on this list because I believe that happy employees create a trickle-down effect. Happy employees produce good results; they are empowered to create change, drive innovation, and offer good customer service. Consider this the Zappos effect. So as a channel partner, you should reap the benefits of working with a channel business that strives for a well-balanced corporate culture. You are likely to see better products, and a good corporate culture typically filters down to customers – you.
I also think companies recognized by employees as positive places to work attract the best and brightest. I mean, why would you, as a talented young person, not start looking at companies known for treating their employees well? Those best and brightest then put their talents to work for your vendors, and that helps you stay ahead of the curve with innovative solutions.
Honestly, it is a great win-win situation, don’t you think?
As I mentioned, a number of Ingram Micro cloud partners were named – including AWS
, EMC, IBM
, HP, Microsoft, NetApp, Rackspace
, SAP and VMware
If you are interested in learning more, most of those vendor are expected to be on hand for the upcoming Ingram Micro Cloud Summit
, so mark your calendar and take this opportunity to learn more about them.
