Teams Phone with Calling Plan

Teams Phone with Calling Plan

All-in-One Communication Solution for Businesses

Teams Phone with Calling Plan combines the Teams Phone SMB (Microsoft 365 Business Voice) and Enterprise (Teams Calling Essentials) bundles into a single service.

The new plan is available for purchase on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. On March 1, 2022, Business Voice will be phased out.

Why is Business Voice Being Phased Out?

The objective is two-fold.

To begin with, this is done for the sake of simplification. The services have been combined to make the purchasing process easier and to avoid any potential misunderstandings with partners and customers.

Second, it serves as a reason for realigning Audio Conferencing. Beginning March 1, 2022, audio-conferencing will be included as part of the core meeting value with all Teams-inclusive SKUs.

What is Teams Phone with Calling Plan and What Are Its Benefits?

Teams Phone with Calling Plan is a cost-effective and easy-to-use communication solution for small businesses. Users may make phone calls from anywhere, on any device, including laptops, smartphones, desk phones, and conference rooms, with the new SKU combining calling, chat, meetings, and collaboration into a single app.

It combines two fundamental telephony components into one package: a phone system and a domestic calling plan. Only a phone system and a domestic calling plan will be included in the new voice bundle. Starting March 1, 2022, all Teams-inclusive Microsoft 365 and Office 365 SKUs will include audio conferencing functionality, which was previously only accessible as part of Business Voice.
