As digital technology continues to permeate every area of our personal and business lives, the digital transformation shows no signs of slowing. The metrics are impressive: Worldwide spending on digital transformation is expected to reach $2 trillion in 2020. The economic value of that spending could be $20 trillion—more than 20% of global GDP—in the next 5 years alone.

The technology behind the digital transformation is cloud—with cloud revenues growing faster than any other category. What does this mean for vendors, resellers and managed service providers? Infinite possibilities.

Innovate and Deliver Quickly

Cloud is an ideal platform to support and promote research, experimentation, development, deployment and distribution for independent software vendors (ISVs). Organizations adapting to, and growing in, the digital marketplace need to be agile, scalable, efficient and elastic—and cloud provides all these advantages and more.

With shorter deployment times, testing new projects is more cost-effective and less of a risk, and the subscription pay-for-what-you-use model preserves cash for innovation. The cloud model provides immediate, on-demand access to the latest solutions, services, and ready-to-deploy environments ISVs need to create and deliver innovative business strategies and products. In short, cloud makes infinite innovation both affordable and achievable.

Create Infinite Scale

Cloud represents an enormous opportunity for value-added resellers (VARs) and managed service providers (MSPs). Those who commit to cloud can become the single source for customers' technology needs, deepening existing relationships and opening opportunities for new ones. The cloud services ecosystem is large and growing rapidly. By committing to the technology, VARs and MSPs can stay firmly on the path leading to digital transformation.

Customer appetite for cloud solutions, including backup and recovery, security, data storage and more is strong. VARs and MSPs that facilitate the selection, provisioning and invoicing of these services stand to gain the most.

By partnering with a cloud services distributor, VARs and MSPs can continue to offer the latest solutions—without the large capital expense of maintaining their own infrastructure, or negotiating terms and contracts with individual vendors. It all adds up to more opportunities.

Get Your Ticket to Ride

As we continue to move toward digital transformation, cloud will play an increasingly important role. Think of cloud as your ticket to the fast lane. Your destination? A place where you can push the limits of what's possible.
