When it comes to technology in 2017, there’s perhaps no more topical issue than IT security. Now more than ever, the rate at which companies are moving data and workloads to the cloud requires state-of-the-art, end-to-end protection for businesses and consumers alike.

That’s why Ingram Micro Cloud is excited to announce it has signed an exclusive agreement in New Zealand with Trend Micro, a global leader in cloud security. With over 25 years of security expertise, Trend Micro creates innovative security solutions that help individuals and businesses safely exchange digital information.

Trend Micro products include:

  • Trend Micro Cloud App Security for Office 365, which protects incoming and internal Office 365 email from malware and enforces compliance on cloud file sharing services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and more
     
  • Trend Micro Worry-Free Services, which provides enterprise-class protection for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices from a secure, centralized, web-based management console
     
  • Trend Micro Hosted Email Security, which is a no-maintenance cloud solution that delivers continuously updated protection to stop spam, malware, spear-phishing, and advanced targeted attacks before they reach your network

The new agreement will allow Ingram Micro Cloud exclusive access to offer Trend Micro’s commercial product portfolio in the perpetual license space. Additionally, Trend Micro has agreed to make its subscription license product portfolio available via Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace in Q1 2017. That’s good news for New Zealand’s growing managed service provider (MSP) and cloud-enabled reseller community—through this relationship, Ingram Micro resellers will have the opportunity to quickly bring the Trend Micro product portfolio to a wider client base by accelerating time-to-market and eliminating operational complexities. Resellers will also be able to easily differentiate their offerings and achieve greater upsell potential by bundling their own services with Trend Micro and other vendors’ products, such as Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
