Ingram Micro Cloud Achieves AWS Well-Architected Partner Status

December 7, 2020 – Irvine, Calif. – Ingram Micro Cloud announced today that it has achieved AWS Well-Architected Partner status, which recognizes a partner’s expertise in delivering AWS Well-Architected reviews for both existing application workloads and new applications based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) best practices and guidelines.

As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and AWS Distributor, Ingram Micro Cloud has helped accelerate the growth of AWS Consulting and Technology Partners globally. This new status differentiates Ingram Micro Cloud as an AWS Partner that provides specialized technical proficiency and successfully identifies that customer workloads meet the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency and Cost Optimization. Furthermore, it recognizes that Ingram Micro Cloud possesses the skills and expertise to identify critical customer workloads and remediate any issues in a customer’s AWS environment. To receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.

“Ingram Micro Cloud is proud to be an AWS Well-Architected Partner," says Tim FitzGerald, VP of Cloud Channel Sales at Ingram Micro Cloud. “This achievement is another strong affirmation of our ability to successfully support our partners as they support their customers’ desire to accelerate digital transformation. We are constantly navigating more and better ways to deliver value-added services to partners and their customers and we couldn’t be more thrilled to receive this designation from AWS.”

Ingram Micro Cloud recently announced its new strategic collaboration with nOps, a leading provider of cloud management software-as-a-service (SaaS) and AWS Advanced Technology Partner. Leveraging the nOps platform, Ingram Micro Cloud partners are expected to more efficiently execute AWS Well-Architected Reviews designed to identify risk, provide cost-optimization insights and root cause analysis, and deliver fact-based assessments and remediation proposals to customers that drive higher project win rates.

“Ingram Micro Cloud has the extensive skills and expertise to provide the level of excellence our customers expect from RedNight,” says Chris Ploessel, president of RedNight Consulting. “Knowing that Ingram Micro attained this achievement validates the confidence I have in Ingram Micro’s ability to support us with AWS Well-Architected Reviews and provide our customers with a smooth sailing journey in the cloud.”
